Life After the Wedding day?

It is somewhat peculiar to reflect on all of the anticipation and wonder that leads up to married life. Months of planning all leading up to one brief moment, when you both say, "I do" and then kiss accross the alter.

But what happens after that? Well, pretty much the same thing as before, except that instead of parting ways at the end of the day, you get to learn about all of your spouse's weird habits that used to take place when you were not around. In our case, I found out that Margaux likes to make balloon helmets and swords...
...I'm not without my qwerks either. Margaux soon discovered that I have a stubborn sense of pride that keeps me from spending money on a barber when I am perfectly capable of trimming it myself...

Not everything is bad though. She also inherited a fabulous chef.

Yummmmmy :) For those of you having a hard time deciding what that beautiful dish is, it's 'Pizza Eggs'

Where Do We Begin?

I guess the best place to begin is at the beginning. Margaux met Mike at a small church event, and was just so impressed by his charm that she couldn't resist the opportunity to ask him out on a date. We dated for what, Margaux would say, seemed like ages before Michael got the nerve to finally give her a kiss...and shortly thereafter, the happy couple was married for time and all eternity.

Okay, so maybe some of the details got lost in the last move somewhere...so Margaux can share her version of events.

I guess this is a family blog so the whole family (minus the halfling) will be posting... :) Here's what really happened.
Margaux decided to attend a baseball activity with the Singles Branch and didn't know anyone so she showed up with some friends from school. While there, she overhears some crazy guy telling people how he went to the beach for the first time at midnight... A few months later, she asked him to a dance. He still fondly recalls the gourmet mac-n-cheese, midget sandwiches and luke warm water... Then she decided to stop dating him but, oddly enough, he kept showing up at the front door. (I blame my family. They just wanted him to do the dishes.)
Time went by and Margaux took pity on the poor boy with his wrinkled fingers. She continued to accept dates from him. Then, one day she found herself accepting a proposal from the boy who had become her knight in shining armor.
Side note: I really did wait awhile for that first kiss...
Apparently though, all was figured out, the knight and his princess skipped off to the alter, and then began their wild safari adventure called "Together Forever".
