Big News

Hooray! For anyone who we haven't talked to in awhile... I am expecting a little girl towards the end of March (2011)! Very fun- it seemed like with Jared, we worried about having enough to dress him in. Since finding out, coworkers, neighbors & friends have been literally dumping things on us in absolutely great condition. Such a blessing!
Her name will be Annalise... something. And we are very excited to have her in our family. She is constantly wiggling so Michael's prayers have again been answered that the baby would move enough for him to feel.
Other exciting news is that our church had a Stake (area) conference this weekend for all 10 congregations in our area. It was amazing- we had two special guests come and speak to us (along with local members and leaders). One was Elder Payne of the Quorum of the 70 and the other was one of the 12 Apostles!! Elder D. Todd Christofferson! So cool- both they and the other speakers did an amazing job.
Michael and I were able to go to the adults' session last night (hurrah for a babysitter) and then today as a family. Afterwards, Elder Christofferson invited all the youth and kids to come up and shake his hand. It was really neat to watch everyone line up and wait to shake his hand. Jared was excited to be on the stand at the front of the chapel. He waved hi and shook his hand aand that was it- but it's so amazing!
I'm so glad we were able to make it out of our home in the bad weather (cold and snowing). It was such a blessing!
