The beginning of a new year...2009

While we were all dreaming of a white Christmas...all this white fluffy stuff didn't actually come until January. Michael took the day off from work and shoveled driveways for the old ladies on the street.

Do you think Jared is trying to tell us something?
I can't help but to think of that playThe Little Shop of Horrors when I see this picture. I can almost hear Jared mimicking that plant: "Feed me, Seymore!"

After dinner, Jared and Dad like to play. They like to gallop around the house like crazy boys so they can get all of their wiggles out before it is bed time.

Some may think that this is a risky game to play on a full stomach, but as I recall, dinner has only landed on Michael's head once. Every other time has been fine.

Jared decided that he didn't want or need Dad's help to stay up while they played...after all, there were two convenient ears that he could hold onto, all by himself. That is about the time that Dad decided the pain wasn't worth continuing this game.

Thankfully, Grandma C. sent Jared his very own Buckin Bronco. He can really get rocking sometimes, but his favorite thing to do is pull out handfuls of hair. Margaux tied a bandana around the horse's head to prevent further damage, and now it looks like a wounded soldier from the civil war or something.

We love you guys and hope you find a reason to smile today!
:) :) :)
Isn't he just so cute?
Just don't tell him that... His head is already big enough.
