The BIG Trip

In May, we went out to California, for Margaux's mom's wedding. Although we were able to visit with family and friends long missed, Jared still stole the spotlight. Here are some memories...

Just before we left, Jared developed a game with mom and dad involving his orange ball. He loves to move it, chase it, and roll over the top of it.

The airplane trip was great. Plenty of time for naps & snacks but not much room to move around. Jared was a trooper and even did well with all the carseat time on the drive up.

...A Future Missionary!

Visiting with relatives was fun for Mom and Dad but Jared wasn't so sure about all the new faces. Thankfully, his uncles were willing to share their collections of dinosaurs and knights. Jared decided they must be friends after all. Here, Jared poses with Grandma and Great Grandma & Grandpa Stewart.

Great Grandparents!

Auntie Lisa, with curly locks, had a fabulous mirror in her room that Jared loved. He also loved being carried everywhere in her arms.

Cami & Juan, friends from our newlywed days, have an adorable girl, Leyna. She & Jared are about 3 weeks apart. Look at all her hair!

Here they are exploring her toys.
Hi everyone!

Here we are! Pacifier and all.

Good morning Dad! Time to wake up!

Margaux's brothers are getting so tall! Next time they might be able to see the top of her head.

The night before the wedding, Grandma & Jerry pose with a quick smile. Tomorrow is almost here!

Here we find Auntie Heather, following a favorite family tradition.

Uncle Jeff, emailing his girlfriend, even though he just got home from hanging out with her. She is a lovely girl. During the week, she came over to work out math equations on Jeff's white board and went with us to Jeff & Lisa's choir concert. Jeff was busy putting together a routine to be the next Danny Driller, leading the school in team spirit with Dottie, and was chosen for the spot for this upcoming year. Hooray!

More smiling...

Uncle Trevor is wondering about the stinky smell. "Why is Jared so happy?"
