Big 1 Year Old

We love our little boy! He is getting so big, so fast. This past month he has been busier than ever.

Jared enjoys going on walks, in and behind the stroller. This particular morning, he was quite frustrated because the stroller was going faster than he could control so Mom had to help. The monkey had fun.

Dad and Mom sped through the whole Twilight series in 2 1/2 weeks. Jared is helping Dad by turning the pages. (No pictures?)

Dad finished a very creative project- making dragons out of odds & ends. (What do you think, Jason?) They even breathe fire!

Mmmm- Father's Day Jello. Very fancy, with whipped topping. He had fun grabbing it at first but then had to be quickly wiped off, bathed and medicated because he still has problems with dairy products, apparently. I'm not sure where this irritation came from. Hopefully he'll grow out of it!

Almost there... Dad placed a white 'ba' on top of a block in the middle of the table. Jared is getting better at throwing. Now instead of dropping behind, it ends up rolling forward. (Mostly)

Woo hoo! What a cool, bald dude!

...But not fast enough! Dad & Jared play a tickle game. So cute!!

Wow! Much easier to steer than the stroller, Jared's car has created major highway systems in every room of our house. Here he comes!

Oh, now a tired boy. Chewing the blanket helps.

This picture was so funny to take! Now, you can see color, because of the flash, but when I went in to check on him, all I could see in the dark were the crib slats and this little chubby arm hanging over the edge. It was so cute so I showed Michael, we took a picture and then turned him so his arm was back inside- all without waking him up!
